Here is my example … One of the most famous sequences of numbers is the Fibonacci sequence. These numbers are often used in the analysis of stock market trends as analysts like to use the moving averages with the same time scales and use ratios of these numbers to assess uptrends and downtrends in stock prices. Using INDUCTIVE reasoning we can see that the sequence is based on the sum of the two previous numbers, starting with 1 and 1 at the beginning. Reasoning only becomes valid depending on the truth of the premises. Deductive reasoning is that where the classical reasoning pattern of A=B then B=C and as a result A=C is used.
